When Registering A Car:
Re-registration: old registration, current insurance card, and mileage
New Registration (Dealer Sale): Green Sales Tax Form, Blue Title Application Form, Window Sticker, and current Insurance Card.
New Registration (Private Sale): Bill of Sale, Insurance Card, Title (on vehicles 1984 or newer), and Release of Lien form if applicable.
New Registration (Transfer): Same as above PLUS registration of the vehicle that the plates are being transferred from.
When Registering A Snowmobile /ATV/Boat
Re-Registration: Old Registration Form
New Registration (Dealer Sale): Green Sales Tax Form, And ME assigned number on a used recreation vehicle.
New Registration (Private Sale): Bill of Sale, ME assigned numbers, and serial numbers. In the case of boats be sure to bring information on horsepower and length.
New Registration (Transfer): Same as above PLUS registration of the vehicle that the plates are being transferred from.
When Licensing A Dog
- Current rabies vaccination certificate, and neutering certificate if applicable.
When Paying Taxes
- Please bring your current tax bill!
- Please bring your previous year's license. You must have proof of a prior hunting license. Those over 16 Years of age purchasing their first adult hunting license muse show proof of completing a hunter safety course.
