POLICE OFFICERS (Full time and Reserves)
The Town of Dexter is currently seeking applicants for a FULL TIME - Police Officer and PART TIME Reserve Officers.

All successful applicants must meet the physical standards prescribed by the Maine Criminal Justice Academy and the Town of Dexter, and have successfully completed the Maine Criminal Justice Academy 100-Hour Course.

Preference will be given to MCJA trained individuals for the full time position.

GROUNDSKEEPERS
The Town of Dexter is seeking individuals to perform grounds keeping and maintenance tasks for the Dexter Cemetery and Parks. The positions require the ability to perform moderate levels of manual labor and be able to operate light machinery including lawn mowers and trimmers. This is seasonal work (irregular hours) which normally is performed between May 1st and October 31st . Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. CEMETERY SEXTON
The Town of Dexter is currently accepting applications to fill the Cemetery Sexton position.

The successful applicant will be a working supervisor. This hourly position will work an irregular schedule April through October under the direct supervision of the Town Manager. The Sexton shall oversee the day-to-day operation of cemeteries and parks; to include the sale of lots and the coordination of burials. Other duties include the management of the Cemetery & Parks budget and maintenance of Cemetery records and maps.
