Fishing Derby to be held in Dexter Tuesday, January 05, 2010
DEXTER - The Dexter Fish & Game Association presents the 2010 Annual Ice Fishing Derby Jan 16 & 17 on Lake Wassookeag Dexter Maine. This year it is to benefit the Dexter Fish & Game Association which we are in the process of reviving. There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, Jan 6 at 6:30 PM at the Dexter Municipal Golf Course on the reorganization of the Dexter Fish & Game Association and the public is invited to attend.

Cash Prizes for the largest Fish in Each Category for the fishing derby is as follows:

$50 Salmon, Lake Trout, Brook Trout,
$25 Bass, Pickerel
$25 & Junior Angler Trophy
For the most Yellow Perch by an Angler 12 years old or under

Derby Headquarters located at P.J's Bait & Tackle 253 N. Dexter Rd

Start Time 6 AM both Days Weigh in all day until 4 PM: You must be in line at that time

Entry fee $5 or $10 which includes an arm's length of door prize tickets.

Door Prize only: $1 each or an arm's length of tickets for $10 - Drawings Jan 17th after weigh-in. Tickets may be purchased at PJ's Bait & Tackle or from your local Association members
