QDMA Ice FIshing Derby ResultsThursday, January 31, 2008
The first Maine Branch of the Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) held a two-day ice fishing derby on Lake Wassookeag in Dexter on
Saturday, January 19th and Sunday, January 20th.
The derby consisted of 137 entrants and the results are as follows: Togue: Brian Keyte – 3.04 weight, 23.00 length, 10.00 girth. Salmon:
Zach Thompson – 1.50 weight, 17.50 length, 8.13 girth. Bass: Chris Libby – 3.96 weight, 18.00 length, 12.75 girth. Brookie: None submitted. Pickeral: Stephen Lancaster – 2.38 weight, 22.75 length, 8.50 girth. Quinten Richards caught twenty Yellow Perch.
