DEXTER - WassookeagSnowmobileClub.com says, If it isn't obvious to everyone on trail conditions for this week...."WE NEED MORE SNOW!" Sounds like the end of the work week we may get some. But, I must say that for such beautiful weather this past week, the trails held together well. Enough snow, at least to allow some of us to venture beyond our backyards. The North end of the bed was still pretty good. But lots of standing water and exposed dirt on the South end. The Clubhouse managed to serve several people breakfast and lunch despite the lack of snow. Some came to the clubhouse by car just to grab a bite to eat and say hello. I had Melvin's great chicken breast sandwich. It was delicious! Also wanted to thank Mackenzie for filling in for Claire and Nathan on Saturday! She did a fine job taking orders, buttering the rolls and making sure everyone paid, even her papa! And for your information: The Beleraus Tractor was sold to Ron Priest. Should make him a nice machine. Thank you Ron! Hope you have your ideas ready for Dexter's Winter-fest 2005! Looking for "snow sculpturiest" and "parade attendees", "radar runners" and lots more. Check out the site's Winter-festival Info! Tootle, |
