DEXTER - The Dexter Regional Development Corporation (www.DowntownDexter.com) is pleased to announce the winners of the Dexter Area Merchant Gift Basket given during the 4th Annual Dexter Winter Festival on February 12th through 14th. The First place Basket Winner is Lois Robinson of Dexter and Second Place Basket Winner is Pat Wilson of Bangor. Lois shops in Dexter all the time and entered the contest in many locations. Coordinator Dawn Wintle of Country Charm said, “Lois was overwhelm and speechless when she saw the contents of her basket and was extremely appreciative”. Pat, who has family in Garland, told DRDC President Judy Wilbur Craig , “I love Dexter and love to shop in Dexter. My daughter-in-law of Garland and I enjoy making a day of it to shop and on Saturday we were at Mr. Paperback in Dexter when I entered.” She also excitedly said, “I have never won anything in my whole life, I can’t believe it!” Lois & Pat are sharing over $1000 in Gift Certificates and Merchandise generously donated by local merchants which include: OK Corral, Loon's, Buds Shop’n, Blackwell, Bangor Savings, Dexter Regional Federal Credit Union, Tempesta Motors, Automotive Extras, Brick Alley Gift Shop, Dexter Café, Dr. Gerrad Rudmin, Varney Insurance Agency, Diane's Beauty Shop, Dexter Variety George E.
