Applications are sought from interested seniors who reside in Corinna, Detroit, Dexter, Etna, Exeter, Hartland, Newport, Palmyra, Pittsfield, Plymouth, St. Albans and Stetson. Information has been distributed to the guidance departments at Nokomis Regional High, Dexter Regional High School, Maine Central Institute, Central High School and Bangor Christian School. Applications are available on line at www.ourchamber.org or at your school guidance department or by contacting info@ourchamber.org . To be considered for this award, completed applications should be returned by March 30, 2012, preferably by email. Applicants should email with "scholarship-application –(name of applicant inserted)" in the subject line.

Electronic applications are preferred, but not required. Electronic submissions will expedite the review process. We will gladly scan any printed applications brought to our office in the log cabin in the WalMart parking lot in Palmyra.

The award will be presented at the graduation ceremony of the winning applicant and will be paid upon the successful completion of the first semester with a GPA of at least 2.0.
