Benefit supper planned for Ripley Representative and wife

RIPLEY - A benefit supper for Doug and Lynn Thomas of Ripley is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at the Millenium in Palmyra, hosted by Senator Paul Davis, Sr., (R-Sangerville) and Representative Josh Tardy (R-Newport).

Davis and Tardy are calling on colleagues and constituents of Rep. Thomas, (R- Ripley) District 24 (Ripley, Athens, Harmony, Dexter, Charleston and Garland) to attend and assist the Thomases with medical and travel expenses.

Lynn Thomas recently was diagnosed with a life-threatening cancer, and is undergoing treatment.

Maine humorist Gary Crocker will provide entertainment for the evening.

Tickets for the fundraiser are $20 per person and are available from Davis by calling 287-1505, Tardy at 287-1440 or Robert Emrich at 341-0341. Donations for the “Thomas Family Benefit” can to be mailed to Davis at 36 Townhouse Road, Sangerville, 04479.

The Millenium is located on Route 100 in Palmyra, south of the Interstate 95 exit for Newport.
