Two plead guilty in last year's turkey hunting incident
AUGUSTA, Maine -- Edgar "Duffy" White, 71 of Kennebunkport, and Larry Inniss, 65 of Arundel, plead guilty to charges stemming from the injuring of two other hunters while turkey hunting last May.

White plead guilty to two counts of assault while hunting in Alfred Superior Court today. Inniss plead guilty to two counts of assault while hunting and two counts of reckless conduct earlier this month. Inniss received four consecutive sentences of 364 days, and the terms of his four-year probation include no hunting and no possession of any dangerous weapon. He also has been ordered to pay restitution. White has been fined $1,000 and will also pay restitution. Both face a possible hunting license revocation for up to ten years.

Inniss shot both Rick LaFlamme of Arundel and Stephen Pelletier of Biddeford while the pair were hunting turkeys on the morning of May 13, 2002 off of the Walker Road in Lyman. Both White and Inniss left the scene after the incident.
