Pine Tree Hospice Brings Laughter to Caregivers
Sunday, March 20, 2011
PENQUIS - We are all caregivers at one time or another. Being a caregiver is naturally about giving. But in order to be able to keep giving we need to periodically be replenished.

Pine Tree Hospice's Caring for the Caregiver series, funded by the Maine Community Foundation, is all about supporting Caregivers (personal or professional) through providing free day long events.

Our next Caregiver Day is scheduled for April 9th from 10am - 2pm and will be held at the Charlotte White Center. All past and present caregivers are encouraged to attend.

In the morning we are thrilled to have Susan Poulin performing “The Full Angel” a series of concise vignettes that chronicle the death of her mother, her family's struggle and courage, and the healing power of love. This moving memoir will make you cry, make you smile, and make you grateful for the people in your life. After lunch, which will also be provided free of charge, Susan will switch gears and entertain us with “A Visit with Ida”. Ida's character has been called the “funniest woman in Maine” and will have you laughing in no time. For more information or to sign up as space is limited, contact the Pine Tree Hospice at 564-4346 and wecare@pinetreehospice.org
