DEXTER - Some of you may not know what FRG means, others of you already do. (FRG) Family Readiness Group is a group made up mostly of a soldiers family members.
This groups function is to be a support group, a networking tool for another family member or a new soldier to get information and help for whatever their needs may be. Through out the year the FRG raises money for the soldiers and their families; should they find themselves in a time of need. The FRG also uses the money raised to have a family fun day in the summer and a Christmas party in the winter. These two events offer all the soldiers and their families a chance to come together and become a closer more connected unit. The Dexter Family Readiness Group (FRG) is holding a spaghetti supper on April 24th as a way to raise money for one of the other things they do. A welcome home party. Please join us in supporting our local soldiers and their FRG team, by attending the spaghetti supper on April 24th at the Dexter VFW hall located on Cedar Street in Dexter from 5-7pm. The cost is $3 for children, $6 for adults. There will be a 50/50 raffle and a door prize. Proceeds to help with the 619th welcome home party! |
