FREE Kid's Fishing Derby

Shirley Page's pond on the Corinna Center Road; Mike Roderka's pond at the end of the Dexter Airport Road, 4 miles past P&L Grocery Store.

We NEED helpers this year to register children, measure fish, help others and ask for donations. If you are willing to help please contact Ron.

Registration will start at 7:30 am.

T-shirts and Fishing Caps made by Gary Olmsted will be available at the derby for a donation of $10.00 each.

Trophies for the first girls limit of 3 trout, first boys limit of 3 trout, longest fish, and honorable mention are made by Wyman's Trophies in Dexter.

A $5.00 Donation is appreciated but not necessary. The Life Time Fishing license will be drawn at 11:30. The winner must be present at the when drawn. The winners parents MUST be legal residents of the State of Maine for the child to be eligible.

All donations will be used to pay for the trout, the trophies and what is left over will be used to buy life time fishing licenses for the kids.

A life time fishing license costs $150.00 for a child aged under 5 and $250.00 for a child ages 5 to 15.

This license is good for the life of the winner to be used in the State of Maine.

The average donation is $25.00 to cover the cost of a trophy. The average donation the day of the derby is $5.00 to $15.00.
