AUGUSTA – On Saturday, June 3 and Sunday, June 4, you can fish for free on waterways throughout the state of Maine. Any person, except those whose license has been revoked or suspended, may fish on June 3 and 4 without a license. All other fishing regulations apply. This date is a change from previous years when the free fishing days would coincide with Father's Day Weekend each year. There also are two free fishing days in the winter that take place the Saturday and Sunday preceding Presidents Day. |
