DEXTER - Due to production considerations, Wayside Theatre has had to postpone the production of The Rainmaker until next season. In its place director Adam Kuykendall will present "The Dining Room", a comedy/drama by A.L. Gurney, in which the actors all have multiple roles. This very interesting play centers around a dining room in an old home, and the various families that use it over the years. It gives a view of the changing times from formal family dining to the more casual post war era, and the ensuing changes of lifestyle over the years. Production dates are July 18 Opening Night, and the following Fridays and Saturdays, closing on Saturday, August 3. For ticket information please call Dawn Huntt at 924-5198. |
