DEXTER - The Dexter Family Campgrounds is now open for the season operated by Dexter Fish & Game Association and has 15 Sites for Tents or RV's, Daily & Weekly Rates, Picnic Table, Fire Ring, & Trash pick up provided. The camp area has a sandy beach, Swimming, picnic area, playground, boat launch, on Site Restaurant & Ice Cream (Lake Shore Lunch), 1062 acres of beautiful lake for fishing, boating, bird watching etc. The campgound also has a Bath House with Hot Showers and generators allowed 9-noon & 5-7pm only. Bring your fishing gear because Lake Wassookeag has great fishing (Salmon, Cusk, White Perch, Yellow Perch, Brook Trout, Lake Trout, Pickerel, Smallmouth Bass).
