DOVER-FOXCROFT - Dover-Foxcroft Family Medicine was one of only two physician offices in Maine to receive the Outstanding Immunization Providers Award from the Maine Immunization Program. Anne Bennett, MA, the practice's immunization coordinator, received the award on behalf of all Dover-Foxcroft Family Medicine employees during the program's annual statewide immunization conference held this month in Augusta. The award is presented to providers who received an immunization assessment in 2004 and achieved the Healthy People 2010 goal of 90% or higher for the immunization rate of children for universally recommended vaccinations against preventable diseases. Dover-Foxcroft Family Medicine, which is owned by Mayo Regional Hospital, has consistently exceeded that goal. The only other Immunization Providers award was received by Maine Coast Pediatrics. |
