Casting is complete for the "The Dining Room"

DEXTER - Casting is now complete for Wayside Theatre's forthcoming local production of "The Dining Room," a play written by A. R. Gurney. "The Dining Room" was first produced at the Studio Theatre of Playwrights Horizons in New York City, opening January 31, 1981. "The Dining Room" was first produced off-Broadway by Playwrights Horizons in 1982.

Featured in the cast are: Dodie Stowe, Ed Hummel, Hillary Roberts, David Ray Jr., Rachel Goetze, Adam Kuykendall, George Bragdon and Dawn Huntt, all playing various roles.

The production will be under the personal direction of Adam Kuykendall, an undergraduate student at the University of Maine in Orono. The stage Manager is Rosemary Waller.

The Wayside Theatre's presentation of this entertaining play will debut on Thursday, July 18, 2002, at 7:00 p.m. in the Dexter Town Hall, followed by repeat performances on Friday, July 19 and Saturday, July 20. The play will also be presented on Friday, July 26 and Saturday, July 27 and on Friday, August 2 and Saturday, August 3.

Ticket prices are $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for children and senior citizens 65 years or older. You may obtain your ticket at the Dexter Print Shop or at the door. You may also call Dawn Huntt at 924-5198 and leave a messsage to make your reservations and pick your tickets up at the door to ensure seating for your night of preference.
