Operation Graduation reaches goal!
Wednesday, July 08, 2009
DEXTER - Dexter Regional High School Operation Graduation committee reached it's goal with a check from the Masons of Penobscot Lodge #39.

The check was presented to Diane Chabot, Operation Graduation coordinator, students from the class of 2009, Ashley Chabot, Chris Chambers, Kenneth Merchant, Marissa Sevey, and Heather Williams by Paul Mosley, Mason of Penobscot Lodge #39.

Also present were Stephen Bell, DRHS Principle and Paul Shaw, Class Advisor.

The class was able to raise over $8,000 for a wonderful trip to "Adventure Bound" in Caratunk.

The final goal was met by a "Rent-A-Senior" event and a dessert auction in April, which the Masons generously donated $500.00 to as well as several desserts and by renting many of the senior students.

Operation Graduation organizers would like to thank everyone involved in helping them reach their goal, and are looking forward to your help again in the future with the DRHS Class of 2010 Operation Graduations fundraising events.
