Two Elmira bowlers and one from Waterloo were on the teams representing Ontario.
After competing in several tournaments across Ontario this past bowling season the top six formed Men's, Ladie's and Senior teams. Kevin Berg of Waterloo was on the Men's, Karole Jordan of Elmira was on the Ladie's and Mary Jordan of Elmira was on the Senior team.
After 21 games of bowling against 7 other Provinces all three teams won the gold medal. Kevin averaged 278 and won 11 points for his team. Karole averaged 255 and won 13 points. Mary averaged 211 and won 15 points.
These three gold medals plus one in the ladies singles (Brenda Campbell of Hamiliton) and silver from the teaching Men's team gave Ontario the aggregate win as well.
