Key Club Corner
Saturday, August 09, 2008
DEXTER - Wild West Weekend was very busy for the Dexter Key Club. We spent Friday night selling concessions for the Ray Stafford Concert. We were set up in front of Tillson's and sold popcorn, nachos and beverages.

Then on Saturday, we had a busy day as well. We started the day at 8 a.m. by setting up Alex's Lemonade Stand and the Dexter "Shoe" Toss. We had shifts through out the day that different members helped out at by working at the different stands. The Dexter "Shoe" Toss turned out to be successful. We had a lot of people interested in trying their luck at throwing a shoe into the different obstacles we had set up.

Tillson's True Value was very supportive of the Key Club this weekend. They donated all of the profit from Friday night's concessions and all of the proceeds from Saturday's shoe toss to us as well. We would all like to thank them for their support and kindness over the weekend. Also on Saturday, at the Grist Mill we had set up all of the Children of Peace International items and they attracted many people walking by.

Wild West Weekend was a fun weekend for the Dexter Key Club.

As you all know school is creeping up fast and we are ready for another busy year of school. So any fans of the Key Club continue reading for more update on what is going to be happening this year for the Dexter Key Club.
