Key Club Corner: Sept 04th
Monday, September 08, 2008
DEXTER - Summer break is offiicially over for DRHS students. On Wednesday Aug. 27, the new students of DRHS and the upcoming freshman started school along with the middle schoolers and primary kids. However for the upperclassmen started the following day, Thursday the 28th. On the 27th, some Key Clubbers went to school to help the new members and freshmen get settled.

We helped the teachers decorate their rooms and we helped people open their lockers and show them to their classes.

That afternoon members from Student Council and Key Club got to tell the students what the clubs are about, and gave them the opportunity to join.

The Dexter Key Club is going to start up K-Kids and BUGS again in September. We are sure this is going to be a success as it was last year.

We are going to do "Welcome to my Home 2;" last year this fundraiser was a huge hit.

At International Convention in Denver, the five that went got along great with our New England District Governor Chris Weathers. As we had our display board of "Welcome to my Home" it caught his eye. He is very interested in attending this fundraiser with us!

We have a lot in store for this year! Stay tuned for more!
