The dance lessons are an attempt to reach out to more adults in the community. These lessons will provide adults with recreation as well as exercise. The eight one-hour lessons will be offered at 7:30 P.M. each Monday evening beginning Monday, October 3.

Dena Worster will conduct the classes. She has taught swing dancing for many years most recently in the Newport area. The lessons, focusing only on swing dances, are designed for beginners, but she will give individual attention to those with more experience.

There is a minimum sign up of 5 couples in order to hold the classes. The cost is $50 per couple or less depending on the number of couples that sign up. Those interested should call Andy Conway at 924-3438.
