DEXTER - The Dexter Regional High School Key Club is doing a program called the "15 Minute program". The program is to show us what it is like to be in a drunken driving situation. This is being held near the Dexter Regional High School and is sponsored by Mayo Regional Hospital and the Wellness Committee. There was a school board meeting last week where the program was approved. It will be held during the month of May. "Welcome to my Home 2" is being held on Oct. 18. We will be camping out at Wayside Park. Canned Foods and toiletries are going to be collected and they will be given to food cupboards. The main focus on the project is to increases homeless awareness. Half of our proceeds go to Fuel Assistance. We also will be donating to the Shaw House and Woman Care. Student Council and the Football Team, and other Key Clubs will be invited to participate. Upcoming Events are as followed. PTO Day Care is starting on Sept. 10. K-Kids will be starting up later in September. Also Key Club will be helping the Town Energy Committee with weatherization of homes and fuel assistance.
