GUILFORD - The Hospital Administrative District 4 Board of Directors re-elected Gregory Bowler of Bradford as president during its annual meeting on Oct. 24 in Guilford. Also re-elected were Dodie Curtis of Guilford, vice president; Judy Raymond of Dover-Foxcroft, secretary; and Robert Pomeroy of Dover-Foxcroft, treasurer. All HAD 4 officers serve one-year terms. The 17-member board is the governing body for Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft, with members publically elected by voters in the 12 district communities of Abbot, Atkinson, Bradford, Cambridge, Dexter, Dover-Foxcroft, Guilford, Monson, Parkman, Sangerville, Sebec and Willimantic. HAD 4 directors also re-elected Lorraine Gilbert of Dexter and Ellen Haley of Sangerville as representatives to the board of Mayo Regional Administrative Services Corporation. MRASC is a subsidiary of the hospital, and operates seven physician practices in Dover-Foxcroft, Dexter, Guilford and Milo. Dr. Harold "Hap" Gerrish of Bowerbank, a longtime local dentist who had served on the HAD 4 board since Mayo Regional Hospital's opening in 1978, was recognized as director emeritus. Gerrish received a Moosehead Manufacturing rocking chair as a gift from the Board of Directors and the Mayo Medical Staff. |
