Options program at DRHS voted to adopt a family for Christmas
Thursday, December 22, 2005
Options Program For the fifteenth consecutive year, the Options program at DRHS voted to adopt a family for Christmas. This year the staff and students pledged $360 (no fundraisers have ever been held). The group went to Walmart where they carefully selected gifts for 4 children. The students wrapped the gifts beautifully and all were marked from Santa. A complete turkey dinner was also donated by one of the student's family. This project has always been one of the most rewarding and fun parts of the holiday season for all the staff and students at Options!
