DEXTER - You are cordially invited to attend the Hal Wilkins Memorial Bridge dedication on January 8, 2011 at 11:00 am. The location is on the clubhouse trail in Dexter. Meet at the intersection of Rt. 7 and the Old Dover Rd just north of town. It is a short walk (1/2 mile) to the bridge site. Warm attire and boots will be required. As many of you know, Hal Wilkins was a great supporter of the Dexter community, Boy Scouts and Wassookeag Snowmobile Club. Hal was honored several years ago as Trail Groomer of the Year. We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to dedicate our newly constructed Covered Snowmobile bridge in Hal’s memory. The bridge was constructed as an Eagle Scout Project by James MacDonald of the local Boy Scouts. It is an impressive structure and believed to be one of only a very few in Maine. We are extremely grateful for the addition of this bridge and proud of the group who built it. Please join us for the dedication on site, followed by a low priced lunch at our clubhouse on #10 Road. Thank you for your support |
