Dexter Winter Festival 2006 Radar Run Results
Submitted by Lynn McKusick - The Wassookeag Snowmobile Club hosted the 6th Annual Dexter Winter Festival Radar Run on Little Lake Wassookeag in Dexter. Despite the freezing temperatures and the wind chill, racer from Maine and Massachusetts came to try their luck on the 1000 feet of ice track. The towns included Dexter, Ripley, Harmony, Sangerville, Lyman, Guilford, Detroit, Bangor, Kennebunk, Abbott, Fairfield, Bradley, Cannon, Newport, Levant, Clinton, Hermon, Corinna, Brewer, Bar Harbor, St. Albans, Lagrange, Powal, Skowhegan, Dover Foxcroft and a few from Massachusetts.
First and second place trophies were given for each class and a larger trophy and cash prize for fastest speed of the day.
