Dexter Winter Festival|
On the weekend of February 15-17, the Town of Dexter and Wassookeag Snowmobile Club will host the eighth annual Winter Festival on Lake Wassookeag.
The theme is applied to the snow sculpture contest and other events so think of your favorite children's storybook characters from the past or present; from Winnie the Pooh (Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, Tigger and Roo) to Clifford the Big Red Dog and Harry Potter and everything in between. There are hundreds to choose from. Check out the library for more ideas. Families get all the kids involved for a fabulous storybook weekend and enjoy this winter that's full of so much beautiful snow. ENJOY THE FESTIVAL!
