COUNCIL PROCEDURE

Chairman - The Chairman shall conduct the meeting, preserve order and declare all votes.

Agenda - The Town Council acts by Ordinance, Order or Resolve, filed seven secular days before the meeting and contained                     on the agenda along with the name of the Councilor introducing the legislation.

Action - Orders are passed; Resolves are adopted. Ordinance amendments must be presented to a first reading; Public                           Hearing and passed.

Suspension of Rules - By majority vote of the Council, the rules may be suspended to allow the introduction of any matter not                                         on the agenda, or to permit a variance from the rules of order

The meetings are recorded to assist the secretary in the production of the minutes.
